Called wildlife, Told the officer about the animals leg, and how it looked and smelled. He said it wouldn't be any good.

Did you check to see if there was any meat spoiled. If not no reason not to keep and tag the animal.

Ya I was talking to wildlife they said as long as it was deep in the woods, I could leave it there. I didn't have my tags on it yet

Found this after we had her down. She was shot before. Leg was rotten.....
