Yeah I know where your comming from but hearing all this justs make me upset.( and I didn't get my moose) never could find him. But there will always be the bad with the good! A good comparison would be like the guy who stabbed another on the bus the other day. But then you have other 20 odd year old boy who would help an old lady cross the road! The bad will always be there, we have to accept it. I know its hard because its shitty to watch the bad happen, but without the bad the good wouldnt seem as important. I'm not backing these people in anyway way shape or form, just saying to try appreciate the good for what it is and handle the bad the best you can and take every precaution because you'll never eliminate it!!

Mark, you misunderstood me. I am talking about the guys that either clean their kill on the side of the road and leave everything in a pile right there or the others that  just dump the hides and bones on the side of the road.

But Mark there are hunters or people who would not spend 6 hrs looking for there kill. I am glad you did and found your moose. A lady told us a story about shooting 4 moose and never even looked for them. Man did she get a mouth full from us.

Agreed Mark.

And as for shooting and wounding animals, WE'VE ALL DONE IT! I tracked a moose i put 2 perfect shots into the vital area from 200yards out for 6 hrs one day. No fault of mine cause i done my best. It's quite likely someone came across this animal and in no doubt is calling me "LAZY "as you say"or "STUPID". I am neither, I have hunted my whole life and take pride in my shooting capabilities, but those big bulls are just hard to take down sometimes. Just sayin there is always two sides to both stories!!!

Guys I understand where your comming from with people setting snares where you run dogs. I have had a beagle my whole life and they are always part of my family. BUT in defence of people Setting snares, they have the right to slip up rabbit runs anywhere in the woods. I simply carry a set of small side cutters at all times. I also trip out any snares i come across when hunting my dogs, catch her and move to another site. Any GOOD hunter always has a backup area thats pretty exclusive. I have left notes in areas on trap lines that are high traffic dog running areas, and have even had a note left for me when I came back. I had one guy who was very respectful and left a note saying " I'm so sorry, I'm new to this area and didnt know people run dogs all the time. I have all my snares removed and this area is clear for running again"!!! Just saying, always keep mins people can't read minds and sometimes a friendly note can change the out come in a friendly manner!!
