I use a flag fairly often similar to what they use for goose hunting, but never a set up with several flags, would like to see it in action.

and how big are the flags?? looks like 8" by 6" or so?? and do you double them up or just one thin sheet per flag?? sorry for all the questions, I just think this is amazing that it works

how do you anchor the poles so that they stay upright? and I'm guessing you just cut a couple stick on the way instead of lugging around the two poles?

So, how do those flags work? are they supposed to be imitating a company of ducks flying over those rocks? very interesting

Only Bird I saw flying....after scowering 10 miles of coast this evening and realizing they just weren't flying up western decided to check back eastern...There was a drake and a hen off shore a sign of life at least so i set my flags on the next point figuring some more would fly out of the bay. After about 30 mins this one came out the bay quartering away a good ways off and made a sharp turn for the flags vearing off at about 60 yards and proceeded on to the Drake and hen where it pitched...watched it for about 5 mins it was craning its neck the whole time wanting to join the "flock" bad,i took cover for 2 seconds to light a smoke and it blew threw the flags 20 yards from me as i lifted my head....it went out and down the shore about a quarter mile looped back nice came between the poles again and I dropped him in the rocks.....had 3 saturday didn't get a pic...Need to shoot some vid show you how well they work...it left live birds for gods sake lol
My Buddie and i were still holding the poles setting them when the first two came in saturday.....dont need a dog, decoys, boat, anchors all that jazz...roll em up stick em in your pocket
