In the process of turning some malard and black decoys into Eiders. These are the hens I'm working on so far plan on doing some drakes as well. Some in this picture I haven't done yet.

Any thoughts?

Thanks Troy, if I venture out I will let you know how I make out with it! Perhaps a stray bird might fly or swim towards shore and get within shot with any luck at all.

Blake, Yes I have been hunting from the point under the lighthouse and also the other point accross the cove. So far it has been hard hunting due to high winds and rough seas. It is also hard to get to now with the snow and ice down becasue the road is not kept up. It would be a great spot for a few guys if you had a boat because the birds tend to stay off shore on the sunkers. Best of luck

Troy I seen your earlier post and was wondering where too out at the cape you were hunting? Out by the light house? I'm familiar with the area but never hunted out there. Figure I'm going to give sea duck hunting an attempt. Any info would be greatly appreciated
