Mike:

There is a wave model on the environment canada weather page. Look for and Hit  "Analysis and Modeling"  on the left side of the page , then choose "Ocean Wave Model" You will see more options but look for the  North West Atlantic line and to  the right you will see "Animation"....hit this and you will get an ocean wave model that predicts the wave height for all of Nfld and Lab. Hit the arrow (play) key and the model will work in animation mode. By using the arrow keys you can slow it down to see the model in 8 hour intervals over the 3 days. I find this useful in planning for my eider duck hunting trips. It is fairly accurate. Since they are making predictions based on expected wind levels and directions, they do a pretty good job.

Does anyone know the site you can go on to find out the forecast/swell height for the different bays around I think its like smart buoy or buoy water or something.If anyone knows could you let me know thanks a lot....MERRY CHRISTMAS to all

when does the feshwater ducks and shell bird season close. i could of had a shot at 3 shell birds today but me buddy said it was closed(hes one of those thats allways right):).i  taught it was next saturday.i  cant find my hunters and trappers book
