Trust me we all need a few more week's LOL.The weather this year was one of the worst i have seen for water beening. The duck's are everywhere and i don't think they know what's going on. Pual, In my opp i think that the # of duck's are there they just move because you can't get out to see them. I am from Placentia Bay one week there where none and the next 3-400 on the water. Getting it extended would be nice, but you can't depend on the weather. Don't forget it closeing date is Feb 28/2011. I know that alot of people are not happy with the weather but it is a hit or miss. If we all waited for the weekend to get good weather GOOD LUCK LOL. A working man never has a good weekend for weather.LOL.  In my opp about not alot of duck's, I think that the warm weathere has played a big factor in the lateness of the sea duck's . There was nothing to drive them down from the north. Every year it seem's that the sea duck's are later getting here. Just my 2cent's. Be safe on the water.

didnt get to hunt eiders much this season too windy and water too rough i wonder what the chances are of cws extending the season a couple of weeks on the north east coast. they have the power to close it at times when too many ducks are taken in areas of high densitys of ducks because of sea ice    welcome your  opinions  thank you

Thanks guys, have had dozens of trips like this and a few not so good. Take one trip like this over 10 moose hunts. 20 years now can't beat the feeling. The is actually someone in fogo who guides these trips.
