Sorry I didn't get back you, I must of missed your last comment. But, Yea definitely have to get together and strategize about next season. and if your able, take in a sea duck hunt!! After christmas is over, I'll put out a message to all local Waterfowlers and see if we can meet a west side charlies or dooleys somewhere and come up with some sort of game plan. What is your opinion on this? does this sound like what you had in mind? hope so. ED

Sounds Good to me!! I KNow a lot of places around, But I agree sitting down with a few maps & aerial photos should produce some new and secluded areas that would be highly productive for ducks/geese. I'll get the message around for the locals see what we can stirr up! What do you think of this snow? Ed

I hear ya!! I have two small children that take priority over duck hunting right now, but I still try to get out as often as I can. I Have to agree on the water level theory. I have seen ducks, the few ducks I have shot and seen, in water bodies that were very small and ususally wouldn't hold a goldfish. But with all the rain we had these small pools seem to attract the waterfowl. Thanks for the response, I now know that I not nuts!! LOL Ed

Hey Brad,
I live in CBS, How has your Hunting season been? Are you hunting on the Avalon? If you are have you noticed the ducks have been behaving strange this year? I have seen a drastic drop in ducks this year than in previous years. has this been your ecperience? Sorry for all the questions but, it has been a frustrating duck hunting season for me. Only six ducks this year. Ed
