We us to see a good many black ducks, teal and golden eyes, and it is pretty good country for getting at birds we did pretty good it was the best place I found in there. I haven't been in there in about 7 years but i imagine much hasn't changed. And I use a Browning BPS in both 10 and 12 guage would trade them for anything. Hope that can be of some help to you.

At 11:06pm on February 20, 2011, Justin Boutcher said…: Hey Matthew I lived in St' John's for 4 years when I was going to school in there my buddies and me used to hunt around the Soldiers Pond if you know where that is, if you don't you drive out the tch till you get to Butter Pot park turn of there and make a loop and head back towards town you only have to drive a couple of minutes and you will come to a hill with a road that leads to a pit and there is a large pond below it we used to go in there follow a trial into the pool line and then get up on the hight country. We used to see alot of geese in there we killed probable 6 or 7 in there.
