Newfoundland & Labrador Waterfowlers has reached another milestone. We now sit at 204 members and growing. Ed and myself have spent many hours talking about this website and how we can help it grow. We have added many intrest groups and topics of varring importance. We have great suport from our wonderful sponcers. Our greatest accomplishments are our members. You folks, and for that we are greatful. The past 10 months have been a blast and a learning experience. I look forward to the future and I hope as more people find out about this site, they will join and become members. Tell us thier stories and show us thier pictures of past hunts and good times with friends and family.

There is a true love for the outdoors in this province, all you have to do is look at the hundreds and hundreds of pictures, videos,and comments. Everyone is excited with the upcomming hunting season, Ed is making decoy ankors, I'm waterprofing my hunting boots and jacket, others are scouting for game, and for some it will be there first hunting season. This is my son's first season with his new pump shotgun. Lets just say he is as excited as I am to watch him.

I look forward to everyone's hunting stories, pictures. videos and even a scatter white lie. So to all, have a great hunting season, have a safe hunting season and for God sake don't forget your kettle.

As Peter has mentioned, this site is a product of you (the members)! It is your place to share your adventures, whether it be through photos, video, or written story. It is also a place to address any concerns you may face as you take to the woods. Let us grow as one voice to make serious changes to improve our outdoor experiences. Again, On behalf of the administrators of this site I (like Peter) would like to thank you the members for making this site what is is today and we look forward to the great things it will become. I would also like to thank our great sponsors, those companies who believed in what we are doing and have agreed to put their support behind us. They are the reason we are able to keep this site open to you. Good Luck this season, to those with big game licenses I hope you have plenty of meat in the freezer this winter. For the Waterfowler, From whence this site gets its name, I hope the wings whistle in and your dog get wet. To the small game hunter, May the grouse, Ptarmigan (partridge), and Rabbits (hare) are in abundance and your dogs have loads of fun! And Finally, to the coyote hunter, May you bag as many of these a possible!
Now get out and enjoy this great province of ours!!!
