I am glad we found out what it was. I just hope now people don't get gun happy and kill what is left, if there is any more left here. The wolf will keep the coyote population a little more under control. As someone said in the chat more wolfs to kill, i hope it don't come down to that. I can see wildlife putting out something on not shooting the wolf and fines being layed.

good news about the wolf.  But like you Joe, I think Wildlife did a piss poor job in dealing with this situation.  People may not be as quick to help out next time!

A friend just called me and he heard on the radio it was a wolf.took them a long time to figure that out and never had the courtesy to keep me up to date.I drove two hours so they could take a look at it and do their test.lost some respect for our wildlife system not the wildlife officers,they were nice each time I talked to them.
