Moose Crash Victim Credits Careful Driving

One of the persons involved in a weekend moose accident credits driving according to the conditions as one of the reasons why nobody in the car was injured.

The car came upon two moose in the middle of the road on the Long Harbour Hill at about 10:30 Saturday night. Wayne says he didnt have any time to avoid the moose, so he concentrated on keeping the vehicle on the road.

Four people, including two young children, were in the car. He told VOCM Open Line with Randy Simms this morning that they were on their way to Clarenville, driving in and out`of fog.

He says police officers told him that those two weren`t the only moose spotted that night.
