Where are the Turrs

Can anyone place reports where people are getting Turrs, I was in Conception Bay Boxing day and saw one Turr.. talking to a few guys and the havent seen any in the Bay either.. How about other bays?

Nothing in Bonavista - Port Rexton area either. A couple of guys were out saw 1 bird.

NOTHING IN Conception bay, there have been guys out all week, no birds.  A co-worker was out 4 mile of the cape and never saw a bird.  Theres been alot of southerly winds since Dec started pushing the birds off.  I was out in central in november and only got 8 birds, the week befor everyone got there limit.  The wind had changed southerly while we were there,  then the following week it switch up to northern and the birds were back.  I think we just need for winter to hit and stay a while and drive the birds in the bays.  Need lots of ice in labrador to force the birds south.

heard of two boats that left foxtrap one had 2 birds the  other one had 6 that was tue or wed.Aparently there is lots of birds in placentia.

Ahhhhhh but where to in placentia bay?? You have to go to the cape st.mary's to get them. If you lonch your boat in placentia it will take you about a 45min steam doing 35 mile per hr to get there. Alot of people don't want to burn the gas to go that far. That's where we got our 80 to. Burned $130.00 in gas to get them.

As for in the placentia bay it self no. Ask around people will tell you the same thing. I know that is where i am from.
