Trouting season

Wont be to long now and we can hit the ponds again for another season of trouting. Be a good time for people to share some tips with others on tactics, lures, bait and flies. I love trolling for browns in the early season up until the middle or end of June, use the brown trout rapala  in a variety of sizes depending on the conditions, or when its a little warmer draging the biggest muddler behind the boat on the fly rod. Anyone have any other types of lure you have good luck with for trout ?

When is the trouting season open again?

Sea trout season is open now in certain areas and the regular fishing season for all areas opens on May 15

I've always had pretty good luck with silver spinners / spoons and worms or other bugs as bait, even corn on more than one occasion. I'm looking forward to trying out some lures this year and I plan to use the canoe alot more than in previous years as well.
