With ice fishing season feb1 i thought id ask for some tips what do you find the best bait, lure and tackle also some good spots in the torbay, pouch cove stjohns well basically all the avalon thanks i will be looking foward to hearing your suggestions

Use nothing else for Bait but Bacon. Last a very long time on the hook and trout love it. All i use is just a hook. As for where i am from placentia bay and that is where i do my fishen.  Hope this helps you out.

Any kind will do. I have gotten some of my biggest trout on it.

Only problem with bacon is, trying not to eat it and keeping some for the fish..LOL

I'll have to try that and see.

I hear Chicken skin is also good.
