A Hunting Accident

A 63-year-old man from Hillview was the person who died in a hunting accident near Old Bonaventure on Trinity Bay. Lloyd Chesley Brown was out with another man hunting turrs in a boat on the bay yesterday, when the second man lost his balance and his shotgun discharged striking Brown.

 

RCMP say he died at the scene and no charges are anticipated.

I know a lot of people do but when we are hunting turres we only ever shoot one gun its shot by the man up front and that one is always pointing forward. This appears to be a situation where  "the man on the motor" was shooting too..

So Sad, my condolences to the families....
