Coyote hunting on the Avalon

It appears i sent this message to the group instead of creating a discussion topic. So, here goes again. Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions for a decent spot to start hunting between paddys pond and down salomonier line? In all reality i could probably just start right here in Torbay in my backyard, as I've caught them on video from the cameras on the house! But i should probably stick to outside of town!

Scouting as you know goes along way. But there seems to be a fair amount on the Witless bay line. Baiting a spot there will increase your chances of seeing one. The down fall there is that alot of people hunt there from time to time.

I've been looking for areas around CBS as well. Living in Kelligrews I've tried witless bay lone a few times with no luck. Would love to joing in on a hunt sometime to learn a few things about calling as all my knowledge has come from youtube haha

Rodney, Not sure you would learn a lot from me and my buddy, we just started chasing coyotes. But meeting up with another hunter is never a bad thing.

Tony, greatly appreciate the offer. You mention "we", not sure how many are in your party, as there are two of us that hunt together. Just looking at your profile, sure looks like you've been sucessfull. If nothing else we should get together for a cup of coffee and talk stratedgy.
