Renews Southern Shore or anywhere down that way. People I talked to can't even let their pets out with out watching them all the time.
okay ill try my luck there this weekend. thanks for the help!
Kill as many as you can!!
I was down in the st shot's area on the Southern Shore on opening day of the coyote season. I watch two coyotes chasing a young caribou. Stopping my car I took out my .223 REM. The two coyotes was driving the caribou towards the road.
About 250 yards from my car I fried my first shot going just a little behind the 2nd Coyote.
When they were at 150 yards I fired going just ahead. At a 100 yards I tried the 2nd coyote the 3rd time hitting him in the back. I hope you never see them running there very hard to hit at high speed. I tried the 1st one putting my shot between the caribou and the coyote I didn't want to hit the caribou. The 1st coyote gave up on the caribou turning back the way it came on my last shot in my Mag I fried going over the coyote.
I know an area close to st johns where there is a good sign of coyote and i've seened them occasionally.I've baited an area and set up a trail camera but only got pic of crows squirrels etc turns out I set up wrong.I did manage to call one in but I don't have a rifle for the distance.I have heard them yelping in nighttime when out fishing. If you are interested I can show you some places to check out
