I think that newfoundland should have the opportunity to hunt crows because there is many of them around, its not like they are endangered or anything, other provinces and states allow people to hunt them. It could benefit businesses by people requiring equipment to hunt them. It could also control the population of them since they are often considered to be a pest. So who else agrees with me that we should be able to hunt them?

If legal, I would participate. Many people are unaware of just how predatory crows, ravens qnd other corvids can be.
Would be a good sport and they are plenty. But the gull is worse. lol Good post.
Cheers
Yes it does seem like there are more & more crows every year
ya for sure! to many i think, i seen them all pitched on the wires one day wing to wing & its crazy how the pole lines sag.
The more legal, but conservation-conscious hunting opportunities available to Newfoundlanders the better. However, we need to drop the minimum hunting age to 10 as well. Crow hunting is a great way to introduce young shooters to the sport, offers very good chances of success and doesn't cost that much to gear up. Almost any small bore shotgun or rimfire rifle will work, a simple mouth call and a set of binos and you're good to go.
I agree should be a season on crows and sea gulls, deffinitly way to many gulls around
Crows are pretty wild in the country. Be a great bit of fun. Save some of our small game in the process.
Even a short season to keep their numbers in check.
