Anyone from the Glenwood area or from around the province know if there is an access road from the Glenwood area to Newton Lake.
From my understanding you can almost get to Newton Lake using the many woods roads in the area.
Really two parts to my post...............anyone willing to show me the route??

Thanks for the reply. I've been on google earth and have seen the road. I was hoping for a route near glenwood. Apparently there are several woods roads that go almost to Newton lake from Glenwood.
I'm in Glovertown. The Bay Despoir highway would be a bit of a drive for me.
You can get there on sled from Glovertown, you would need additional gas i think.Via Maccles then Rocky over country toward Deer Pond. Theres a series of bogs that can get you there.
By sled a closer way to get there would be up the AND road from Gambo, via Dunphys Pond Road. Then out over the bogs to Newton.
You could also travel up Triton Bk from Upper Gambo Pond ( ice permitting) but thats a more confusing route ( but by far the prettiest)
I dont know how they did it but I know guys who last winter went from Steel Bridge ( Glenwood) via Newton to Mt Sylvester.so there is a way.
