Any good spot for moose hunting in Area 35 (St. John's)?

Hi, my buddy and I got a moose license (either sex/calf) in the area 35 in the 2015-2106 season. We are inexperience hunters so any information about moose hunting spots would be appreciated. We are looking to meet new friends too. Email: [e-mail];  Thanks.

Northern Pond road has some moose there. I'd recommend do some. Scouting before the season opens. Look for lots of moose sign. Have a look around early morning and after supper in the evening.

Just like another cory in a post just sad about the moose in Avalon almost gone. I live in the goulds norther pond is my backyard I've Ben hunting there with my dad whe. I was 4 and I takin my son at 2 and we snare for da kids and wit all thes ppl sending non eouerence hunters in there when already it's overcrowded it's only calling for a accident he should pick a more less popular his first time out like soldiers pond pole lie. In last 5 years outta the 25 I hunted northern and not from da road either. My gps looks like it for da mieasals from the points I know every road trail ad these last years of overcrowding ad in expierence hunters actually makes it dangerous o do what I call huntin which is takin my 7 year old he picks his own run an gets rabbit data huting

Joyce's trail is another spot but there is a heavy hunter presence there as well. Rod & Gun club is a good area good sign there. I gave up St. John's area. Be better if you can hunt during the week days, weekends the roads are full of vehicles looking for moose. Be sure to wear blaze orange where ever you hunt.
