Hey everyone, just throwing out a question so I can get some feedback! I'm looking to purchase a boat for cod fishing in the summer and turr hunting in the winter. I want a boat that's clean in the water and can handle the wind and swell. I'm leaning towards a seabreeze package but would like to also hear about Ocean Fisher and Sea Serpant as well! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
You definitely take a look at the Coastal Boat built in Kings Point. It is the cleanest boat on the water with no wood in the construction. So you will never have any rot issues. I went through the same as you are now. I looked at all and did some research and bought the coastal. Take a look at all the hulls and choose what's right for you good luck. I have some.pictures of my coastal on here if you want to see them. Good Luck!
I got a 22' sea breeze with a 75 four stroke Mercury I got no complainants with it dandy boat very clean I uses it for fishing and turring awesom boat you'd be happy with one
Mark, I forgot to mention, Glenn Meadus, builds Sea Breeze boats. He is a member of this site. I'm sure if you have a question he would be only too happy to help you out.
It is a very good boat. I have one and I have to say I am very pleased with it. The boat is incredible in rough water. All are great when it flat but this boat really shines when the wind come up. We spend a good deal of time on the water, lots of times we are the only boat out. So I wanted a boat that I could rely on. This boat inspires confidence. Best boat I've been in.
I should also mention, if you buy the boat directly from Coastal Boats there is roughly a 8 month waiting period. If you buy from Atlantic Recreation you will have your boat in weeks instead of months. Curtis Mitchel 739-6662. He is the.person I deal with. He is a good guy to deal with.
Good Luck, you won't be sorry with a Coastal Boat from Atlantic Recreation. They truly are incredibly boats.
All four of the main builders in nl are excellent at what they do. The seabreeze, coastal, sea serpent and the ocean fisher. But there's also a boat that's built by yates now called the osprey. There's a couple guys in new harbour, trinity bay that have these in the 21' walk thru. This boat cuts thru the waves like nothing I've ever seen. I'm in the market like you Matt. I'm looking for a 19' walk thru with a 90 yamaha but after seeing one of these boats cut thru the waves and how deep they are it's got me thinking. Either way tho, you can't go wrong, all great built boats.
Also I found if you email glen meadus from seabreeze directly he will always get back to you quickly and will even follow up to make sure the dealers have gotten back to you.
