I have been backpacking, canoeing, etc. in the backcountry my whole life but only recently have gotten into hunting. I've been upland hunting the past few season while waiting to get into proper pool to pull a tag for a big game hunt. Does anyone have a recommendation of how best to learn how to responsibly hunt and break-down a caribou or moose? In a perfect world I'd attend a few hunts to observe, but my network in the hunting community is limited at this point. Any advice?
