I made one a few years back out of a truck stereo with the speaker attached by a 50 foot wire. It was powered by a ski doo battery, and the tape I got at cabelas. Never called anything, only tried it a couple of times..to damn heavy! It sounded good and was loud enough on a still day, but do not compare to the foxpro I use now.But in the mean time if your interested in a good mouth call try the Dan Thompson PC-2 I have one and love it, sounds really good and easy to use.
I seen some on line made of a powerhorn speaker (30W, 50W etc,) a amp. and a mp3 player, I'll have to try on to see how loud it is. Using a cass creek speaker now, not loud enough. How loud is your fox pro? My buddy here has the CS-24, with the 10W speaker, it will make your ears ring. Can't see me spending $500 though. Have to come see yours when I get home again.
Thanks for the info Scott. No luck with the cass creek, I don't think that I can get enough volume.
Pinsent, got a 20 watt CS 24 you can borrow
