Big Game Season, Was It Successful or Unsuccessful?

 I'm trying to get a feel for this past hunting season. This has to have been the worst season ever, weather wise.

 

 Were you successful in your moose, caribou or bear hunt(s)? Did the extension of the big game season play a roll in your hunt? Has anyone heard any feedback from thier family and friends on how they made out?

 Did you see many animals while hunting this year compared to other years?

Our party was succesful in filling 1 set of tags, shot a cow in the salmonier area. Took alot of trips to get, but we did see alot of animals.

Yes I was, got my moose 11 min into moose season in Placentia Bay. Calf,155 lb dressed. Put the bike right to him.

I left the house at 6:45 and i was home again at 8:00 and i waited 3 years for that.LOL.

Hi Peter, I got my Moose on the Southern Shore, Cape Broyle the First Hour of the Second Weekend after Opening Day, it was the Only one we Saw, but then we weren't Looking very Long, hahaha. Reports were that there were a Lot of Moose Killed on Opening Day in that Area. This was my First Moose, I Always Hunted Caribou but Made a Change this Year due to the Difficulty in Getting a Caribou Tag..... Glad i Did.
