Are you sure the bullet disintegrated? With the slow twist it may not have stabilized and just flew off to never never land. I havent used them. But I read it said on box that a faster than 1:14 twist is needed.
I also read that the savages are shooting them well in a 223.
That 1:14 is a pain with the 22-250 it will limit you to 55 gr and smaller. I think the grenades are lead free so I assume they are long. Maybe too long for a 1:14 twist
I would think a steady diet of Nosler BT,A max, or Sierra BT in 50 gr will just fine.I am working up loads now for 55 gr Nosler Bt but havent been to range Ill let you know how it goes. The rifle is a Sako but has a 1:14 twist
hey leo the fishing spot I was talking about is actually inn the pond I pointed out to you not in gambo pond, never really fish gambo , I dragged some spoons there once and caught a 5-6 lb slink
hey leo i never noticed the crimping on the bullets but they were not half as accurate as the hornady ammo that could be a good reason for them not performing correctly but i put the 40 of them through the gun and was not impressed when i bought the hornady ammo it was like fireing a diffrent gun all togather my buddy bought a box of winchester 22-250 but not the 40 round box and never had a hitch i fired a couple of them through mine and they worked well so it might just be in the value packs there are faults
yes leo, I was in there in a 2wd ranger, road is 2 lanes wide, was in there area last friday all the snow is pretty much gone, so the road should dry out quickly.

Albert.
Will do, hoping to get a good day next week. I am working on a load for coyote with my 204. I had a promising ladder rround with 40 gr Bergers.
I am shooting 35 Bergers now behind H4895.I have been pleased with it on coyote but it tears thru foxes.
