Awwwww man....they were hens damn it lol I thought they were just young birds cuz one is a lot smaller than other but I guess I was wrong...and I also learned something new thanks peter

Hens got the blue on their bills as well. This is a picture of a hen. You can see the blue on the bill.

The 2 pintails we got...grant said they were drakes but young birds and never had there colors...the drakes got the blue on there bills right...I don't know first one I ever shot

Was out today after ducks with buddy of mine...managed to bag a black and two pintails not bad seein how the weather was the s@#ts lol

Hey,

Looking forward to getting out and doing some duck hunting this fall. However, still new to the area and  I do not know any decent spots to see a few birds. Would love if someone could help me out and tell me, or even better show me a few spots. Any help is appricieated. Thanks guys

The season is starting to look better. Saw approx 40-50 Goldeneyes this week!

Look into the dan bailey line I got the bare bone,them and the light weights have great reviews.  You really need to be down around 5 degrees to get into the neoprenes.  Reviews on them are the best for that price.  And use fleece pants on colder day like david said. Available at OP.
