yeah, looks like it will become a thing of the past, prices up a bit this year though. Most of my fur was sold this year, still a few pelts left unsold. Its been pretty good snowmobiling inside, but we are getting a lot of rain now, brooks are all gone and lakes getting pretty bad.
hey John, I have watched your videos on youtube over and over, just beautiful. You guys have some of the best snowmobiling around. I have trapped several of those big black coyotes, they seem to be the dominant males. I was up your way four weeks ago, as far as St. Barbe, saw some caribou north of three mile rock, didn't see a coyote but a lot of tracks around the highway. There were many ducks and turr just offshore.I don't think I saw the highway coming back because of drifting. You guys have any trappers up your way.
Cats Arm, is that down around Jacksons Arm by any chance, from what i could tell from my maps is there is a forstry road going in but its not to long of a road. planes and choppers are not readily at my disposal lol
John when you tie on the flags do you tie by one corner on each piece or fold the corners together then tie them.

Yes John I may give it a try. I think it would alos work to bring them into decoys as well. We do get many days when the sea is too rough for decoys so that setup may just work perfectly.
