And, the team has talked back and forth about what we would do when we reached 100, 200, etc. Well in late April we reach our first goal of one hundred. We are a Canadian based organization as we were started here in Canada by James Ford Bell on the Delta marsh located on the shores of Lake Manitoba. The Delta marsh is still home to one of our research stations along with Minnedosa MB. We do have a U.S office in Bismark, N.D as well as our Canadian office in Winnipeg M.B in which is also home to Mr. Rob Olson as the president of Delta Waterfowl. It is a sad day! The end of another Freshwater duck season! This year had its share of excitement and upsets. But, Overall I think I had a successful duck season. From gaining a new hunting buddy to the creation of this network, this year has been an accomplishment. With only a little over 200 days left til next season, I have a lot of work to do! LOL

Fewer Kids are not learning to hunt and fish today than in any other era. Among the reasons: A drop in rural populations, a rise in technology, an increase in the number of single parent households(many often don’t have the time or means to take their child afield), and the increase in urbanization.



Most children learn to hunt and fish when someone takes them hunting. We as hunters and fishers must take our children (or nieces and nephews, neighbour’s child, etc.) into the outdoors.… Continue
