So whos hitting the ponds this Sunday for the first day of the season? Were are you heading?

I was looking forward to the annual trip to whitbourne with my buddy, but got to go to work on Friday instead !

Deffinetly looking forward to getting out this weekend, been counting down the days since the winter season closed. not sure where im heading yet though, I dont think it will be too far but I got some good trips planned for over the summer!

ill be up at 4 tommorow morning me and dad got the gear in the car and for a while ive been sea troutin i cant wait to get in to the pond for some mud trout !

nice trout mani was out all day between me mom ad dad we had 20 between 9-15 inches mud trout and landlocked salmon were are these from ?

I pulled these out of a pond up off the TCH just up by Foxtrap access rd. I was out for most of the afternoon yesterday, I threw back a couple of the smaller ones I caught and had several bigger ones that got off the hook before I could land em. Wasnt a bad day overall though.
