Fished the explots today below sanger park, fish on within twenty minutes. Lots of fish being caught.

Nicholas... turn down the bay d'espoir highway and there is a dirt road on the right hand side only a few minutes  down. drive in that way and theres a road that turns right on it.....theres alot of good places there to

Nicholas - There are numerous places to fish on the Exploits. There will likely be a few people in the more popular pools, so I'd advise you to look around and see where people are fishing. Everyone normally shares the pools on the Exploits, so if you wait your turn you'll get a place to fish. It'll be hard to get a pool all to yourself unless you're willing to walk a ways and be out early in the morning. Being your fist trip, I'd recommend that you try above the bridge behind the old mill.

Hey guys im planing to fish the Exploits around July 20 in the Grand Falls and Bishop's Falls area. looking for someone to point me in the right direction to hook a couple fish. Any info would be appreciated(good pools, directions, what to look out for, do and do nots) Not familiar with the river so need some help to make the trip a good one.

ok thanks cory! this is my first year so im learing , you should try salmoier went there this weekend in one  pool below murphys i seen not even a joke 75 samon jump in like an hour! seen 12 hooked and 3 cought  in that one pool as i was wading up the river salmon had smacked my boots!, the most salmon ive seen  there we 18 hooked and 6 cought that day around me it was pretty good !

Reports of a net wit 70 fish in it on the NE Placentia river is a load of BULL.After talkin to Fisheries Officers up there on the River they said it was only a rumor started among anglers and they never knew nothing about it nor were there any charges laid.Regards to your quetion Brandon if there is any fish in North River there are very few gone in yet and if you want to try fishin up here you better bet the poachers to the river when the fish do come in.I live here in North River and don't even wasting my time fishing up here for salmon.When I go salmon fishin I usually go to NE Placentia and try my luck,which hasn't been that good so far,but i'm hopin that now wit the big run in it will change this week.
