She hit a moose, and the collision actually peeled back the roof of her car. Michelle Higgins didn’t let it stop her from continuing on with her 38 km drive to work - and as it turns out she can’t remember any of it.

The New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources is looking into the possibility that a wolf shot in the province last month might have been held in captivity, maybe even as a pet.
"We are not sure on that 100 per cent for sure, but we have DNR staff working on that,” Minister Bruce Northrup told CBC News on Wednesday.
Wolves were believed to have been hunted to extinction in the province.

CHARACTERISTICS
The Newfoundland wolf was a medium to large wolf up to 5.5 feet long (nose to end of tail) and up to 100 pounds. It was said to be white, with a black stripe down its spine.

A coyote attack in Nova Scotia this week is fueling demands for a bounty on the animals, which began when a Toronto folk singer was killed by coyotes last fall.
