NOTE:
"... fishing villages along Newfoundland's rocky shores became known for producing a hardy strain of water dogs. By the mid-1800s, Newfoundland's retrievers were in high demand for their intelligence and strong swimming ability. As a result of this popularity, Newfoundland is the origin of several modern retrievers." Bill Nichol, Born to Hunt:

Hello I am looking for a nova scotia duck tolling retriever pup... does any one have one for sale or know of any one that has some.
thanks again
It is hard work but thankfully it goes faster than raising humans. You should not let him bite your feet. When he does that, grab him by the top or bottom of his mouth and let his lips roll between his teeth. Then when he bites he will be feeling the bite and will learn that humans are not to be treated this way. Again it does not have to be harsh but he will cry a bit. It is important that you are not inflicting pain but that he is. Only do it when he is chewing on you or other people. The excessive chewing at your feet is likely a need for more exercise which will be easier to give as he gets older.
when i do catch him i do like you said and he is 3.5 months old wont stop chewing on my feet and other stuff he has toys and bones but gets bored of them , and i usually do put him out at night ill try to let him out during the night to go more often that would make sence. thanks!
