Moose class-action lawsuit dismissed, province found not liable
Judge Robert Stack has dismissed the moose-vehicle collision class-action lawsuit against the Newfoundland and Labrador government, finding the province not liable.
The class-action lawsuit for people injured in moose-vehicle collisions that was filed against the provincial government has been dismissed by a judge with the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador.

I happened to take a run up around Three Arm Pond on the CBS highway last night to see if there may have been a duck kicking around. I ventured in Fowlers Road towards Paddys Pond and walked out the poll line to the head of the pond and it was with utter disbelief I counted 16 beer cans in a duck blind all brand new. Big Game Hunting Season Open
It's the first day of the annual big game hunting season in central and western regions of the island and Labrador. The eastern region big game season will open on October 4th, while small game and trapping will open in the coming weeks.
