So the people in New Brunswick finally got word that the 86 pound animal shot in New Brunswick in early April that was believed to be a coyote, is indeed a wolf.

It'll be the end of the month before results of DNA testing performed on the remains of what was believed to be a coyote, shot on the Bonavista Peninsula last month, will be available. A spokesperson with the Department of Environment says the samples were sent outside the province for testing. I had a chance to attend the Ducks Unlimited auction here in Corner Brook last week. What a great turnout. Came out of it with a new semi-auto 22 and a gun cabinet. Great cause and very well organized. If you have a chance to take part in any of their events in your area please do so. It is well worth it.
